ThePadTheGirl Igbologun Community (Snake Island).

Image
ThePadTheGirl Campaign is an initiative to promote menstrual hygiene among 1000 girls and women in Igbologun Community (Snake Island). A community that has been neglected and lacks fundamental resources. A visit to IGBOLOGUN revealed that girls in this community use rags, old foams, wet newspapers etc to care for their menstrual flow. Most of them miss school for about 5-7 days, during their menstrual period. Please join PadTheGirl campaign this December in the quest to keep a thousand girls in school, one pad at a time. Our target is to give out a thousand pads to these young girls. A pad costs N400 so a thousand pads is N400k. You can donate as low as N1000. Or you could support in kind by providing sanitary towels to reach our target of a thousand pads. You could also show your support by volunteering or helping to spread the word. Your donations would go a long way in making this dream a reality. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let me know

Former President, Goodluck Jonathan’s pardon of late ex-Bayelsa Governor, DSP Alamieyeseigha made the international community to turn against him during the 2015 Presidential election. This claim was disclosed by the spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bolaji Abdullahi, in his upcoming book, , ‘On a Platter of Gold: How Jonathan Won and Lost Nigeria.’ Alamieyeseigha, Governor of Bayelsa state from 1999-2005, was arrested in London in 2005, over claims of money laundering. It was then alleged that about £1 million cash found in his London home, and later another £1.8 million in cash and bank accounts. The former governor was subsequently convicted and jailed on corruption charges in 2007. However, the then administration of Jonathan granted him presidential pardon in March 2013. In his book, Abdullahi noted that the amnesty pardon was the turning point for the international community, adding that it was Jonathan’s original idea to pardon his former boss.

He said, “The president should be more interested in the things of the party. As Commander-in-Chief, he should be interested in who leaves. “If I was in position, I would have stopped the movement. “The president should have consulted the governors in appointing men like Kwankwaso, Atiku into the system. “He should have given them a ministerial position to pacify everybody and call governors to bring five names of candidates for ministerial slot, that way democracy becomes a participated one. “I’m not scared of PDP coming back in 2019, they cant return because no international agency likes them and they insisted PDP be pushed away “All I know

TURN YOUR IDEAS IN REALITY.

Image
TURN YOUR IDEAS IN REALITY. Often times, IDENTITY is a major challenge, why people remain stagnant. Not being aware of their abilities, strength, values , interest , more so, not paying attention to weaknesses and avoid building skills with which we have been endowed. Gone are those days where we live on a specific pattern of life over and over without having anything to show for it. It is time for each and everyone to start focus on skills that will consciously cause us to advance in life , that we may be a blessing to one another. That brings us to the question: WHO ARE YOU? You are what you think, What you can do that people around you know you for, You are your interest, You are the value placed on you. If no one can describe you positively in relation to the solutions you can provide, then permit me to say your are no body yet. But you can actually build your identity today. No Nation can provide help for every citizen but you can actually help yourself , your generation an

In his response, Freeze challenges him to a debate and says, ' I have EVERY RIGHT, to demand an explanation for a doctrine that is evidently not in symphony with the teachings of Christ, or in synchrony with Biblical scripture regarding Christianity'. Read his full response below... Dear apostle Suleiman, the leader of the #FreeNation greets you and brings glad tidings. It would have gladdened my heart profoundly, and done the body of Christ much eminence, if you had shed some scriptural light on the tithing issue, as against going down the well worn path of sentimental and emotional blackmail, your 'elders' have familiarized us with. Many weep as MMM announces a “RESTART

Popular ponzi scheme MMM has officially announced a “RESTART” of the system, leaving many Nigerian participants wailing with thousands and millions on Naira trapped in the scheme. In a message posted on the home page of participants Saturday morning, the scheme said that it had struggled to stay afloat after going on a break in Dec. 2016 but had been forced to do a system restart. Many of the participants who commented in various MMM Whatsapp groups recounted sadly how they and family members had lost millions to the scheme. MMM is a ponzi scheme which gained popularity in Nigeria in 2016. It promised to pay participants 30 per cent return on investment every 30 days. Despite various warnings by the Federal Government and its financial regulators, many Nigerians adamantly went on to participate in MMM. Recall that in 2016, the Federal Government, through the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) warned Nigerians against putting
