Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has said the Rivers state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is dead and that no matter how the party members fast and pray, it will never wake up. Governor Wike said this while reacting to President Buhari's planned visit to the state. Recall that last week, the presidency announced President Buhari's planned visit to five troubled state, Rivers being one of such states. Speaking while launching the reconstruction of Egbelu Street and construction of link roads in East West in Rumuodara, Obio Akpor, yesterday, Governor Wike said President Buhari's visit will not ressurrect the APC in the state.
